Dies ist ein Teil einer Emailkorrespondenz zwischen einem Wissenschaftler/Doktor in Amerika und einer überlebenden Krebspatientin in Schottland.
Dezember 2009
Hi Dr Z…,
you might remember me writing to you some weeks ago. I have
NSCLC with which I was diagnosed in 2006. At that time I received
palliative care only. I have been on LDN for the last two years with no
sign yet of recurrance. However, some people simply don't respond.
Could this be because they do not have functioning genes for
OGF receptors? Is there any way around this? Could you explain about
this to me a little more?
First, how wonderful to hear you are doing well with LDN and your
disease. NSCLC is deadly - for you to be here. If you have stage IV this
is very bad. So, LDN is working wonders.
Second, why some people don't respond. Now we are entering the
arena of what needs to be done. More research. Predictions in humans,
because of their variability in genetics, metabolism, environment, etc. is
extremely difficult. We have learned an awful lot about LDN - its
chemistry, biological pathways, and cell/molecular biology. I could name
50 factors right now that could make a difference based on our science to
date. If we knock these factors (one at a time) out, we can stop the
action of OGF (the opioid growth factor - how LDN really does its job) or
LDN. Not to mention the quality of the LDN - especially the fillers used
in its composition. Then the type of disease and stage of disease need to
be factored into an assessment.
Please keep up the LDN - and your good health. I am proud of
you - and delighted that we discovered something
that helped another person.
